About the Guild.
The world will always need adventurers. They who do not fear the unknown. Pioneers who let nothing get in their way. Explorers that go where no-one dared go before. To vanquish evils unknown, to uncover riches untold. That is the Adventurer's call. Adventure on the FrontierThe Band of the Brave is a group of courageous adventurers, heroes and fortune-seekers, always chasing the latest frontier. Whether we are searching for treasure, hunting dangerous monsters or forging epic new items on the fly; we always strive to unearth new ground. The guild is a hub to bring these brave souls together, so that united, we can share in eachother's company and spirit, committed to conquer the greatest of challenges. Draenor a step too far for ordinary adventurers? I think not. Diving through portals into the unknown is what we do best! Through all the chaos, the Braves managed to hop out of the fire, into the fryingpan. Let's see what we've got cooking! From hunting big game in Nagrand, bargaining with shadowy Arrakoa, tricking Ogre Sorcerors to give up their treasures, sabotaging Iron Warmachines- or getting drunk on some stolen Frostwolf booze. And we're still only scratching the surface.
So what can you expect from the Band?Well, for starters: Everything. We strive to explore and enjoy every aspect of this game. However, as we are at our core a roleplay guild, we expect every member to participate with our RP and gatherings every now and then, whereas the other aspects are optional.
Roleplay Roleplay serves as the heart and soul of the Band of the Braves. Join us in our weekly events that take us from heroic adventures and wacky chases, to kicking back by a crackling fire, reminiscing with stories of our exploits. When it comes to our events, our main priorities are diversity and fun. An epic success, a disastrous failure, every event becomes another unique part of the rich lore of the guild. And so will your character! Ready to see your portrait on that wall of fame?
| |||
PvP Our events often take place deep into contested territory, where ambushes of the Horde could be around every corner. We encourage our members to have their best (transmogged) PvP-gear on at all times in these dangerous areas, as it’s not unknown to have a fight or two break out! Furthermore, many of our members participate in instanced PvP too, to get that edge out in the world or in our monthly duel tournament; the Battle of the Braves!
| |||
Raiding Did you know that raiding can actually be fun? No? Allow us to turn that LFR-frown upside down! Without you, the Band of the Braves has beaten Highmaul’s Sorcerer King! But with your help we will be able to field an even better, fully rounded team! Our goal here is not to become the best of the best, or to enforce a hard raiding regime. Instead we have fun casually progressing through this content as a team, experiencing at least some of the challenge that LFR completely lacks.

| Daredevils for Hire? Or perhaps you don't want to be an adventurer yourself, but want to be an ally, foe or employer of the guild. Perhaps you just want to tag along with an event or two. There are many possibilities! We will be reaching out to other guilds in the near future to see what cross-guild things we can make happen. If you have an idea yourself, don’t hesitate to seek contact and let us know! | |||

An Adventurers Guild.

The Band of the Brave is a group of intrepid adventurers, always chasing to be on the frontier. Whether they are finding treasure, hunting dangerous prey or crafting epic new items; they always strive to unearth new ground. The guild is a hub to bring these brave souls together, so that united, they can conquer the greatest of challenges.
So what can you expect from the Band of the Brave?
Roleplay!
The band is primarily a roleplay guild. We have weekly events that take us from wacky chases, making merry by the fireplace to heroic stand-offs with giant monsters. We do not adhere to super tight rules about which zone the Band is situated in at any one time. Instead we employ timeskips and go to the coolest places so we can live up to our adventurous creed.
Exploring a Dangerous World
Right now the Band is exploring the latest and most dangerous frontier; Draenor! One of the side-effects of exploring dangerous new worlds is that they are, indeed, dangerous. Braves have to be 90+ and in their best (transmogged) gear when out in contested territory. Anything could happen!
Facing Challenges
Besides just roleplaying, the Band has begun to work together to conquer raids and other challenges of the game. We maintain a laid back attitude here; Progressing at our own pace and having fun while at it.
So you want to be an adventurer too?
Well first off...- You've got to be level 90+ and have access to the Warlords of Draenor expansion. This is where most of our content will be for the time being.
- Your character fits into the sometimes wacky, sometimes heroic adventurous nature of the guild.
- You are nice and friendly.
Then...- Get in contact with one of the officers and let us know you're interested.
- When you have a good idea of what to expect, and you seem like a cool enough person you can be invited into the guild OOC as the 'Stranger' rank.
- See if you can join us in an event, or ask for RP with those online. Get your character introduced! Then you may join us as a 'Companion'.
- Participate in events and becoming a known face. When you are deemed ready you may become one of the core of the Braves; a 'Braveheart'. They form the active heart of our daring team; sharing and creating events, stories and fun!
Or perhaps you don't want to be an adventurer yourself, but want to be an ally, villain or employer of the guild. There are many possibilities. Get in contact with one of the officers and let us know!

The Band of the Brave is a guild of adventurers, tradesmen, heroes and sellswords; People who make a living off the beaten path, who have chosen a life of adventure over the domestic life of a farmer, a shopkeep or a town guard. The guild is a hub to bring these brave souls together, a place where they can help each-other out on their quests, missions and jobs. The more a member contributes to the collective, the higher they will rise in standing.
Role-Playing.
The Band of the Brave is a role-playing guild. There are often several role-playing events a week, and all members are encouraged to both take part in these events, and create events of their own. We use the Pig & Whistle tavern in Stormwind City as our base of operations, a casual hubb to hang out in between quests and expeditions.
Player versus Player.
Our events will often take us deep into contested territory, where ambushes of the menacing horde could be around every corner. Members of the guild are encouraged to participate in player versus player combat when-ever it presents itself, and to keep a set of (transmogged) PvP gear at hand at all times. Be the horde fiends that attack us role-players or not; We make an effort to include them in our role-play.
So you want to be an Adventurer...?
To join the guild, all you have to do is seek us out, and ask. The Band of the Braves takes characters of all races and classes.
Characters that freshly enter the guild are known as Greenhorns. During this time they have to prove that they have what it takes to be a true adventurer. That means being brave in the face of danger, helping out their fellow adventurers when they call for it, and showing that they can show responsibility in taking care of their own equipment and mount.
Once their Greenhorn period is over, Braves can earn Badges of Bravery by participating in and hosting role-playing (or PvE/PvP!) events and rise in standing, earning the title of Braveheart, Lionheart, or one day even the most respected Dragonheart.
